After months of sniping, Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump meet again

Donald Trump and “Fox News”‘ Megyn Kelly has a pleasant but tense exchange Thursday evening at a GOP primary debate, which comes after months of harsh insults and backbiting between the cable news anchor and billionaire businessman.

“Mr. Trump,” Kelly began.

“Hi, hello,” the GOP front-runner responded.

“How you doing?” she asked.

“Nice to be with you Megyn,” he continued. “You’re looking well.”

“Great to have you here,” Kelly responded as the audience laughed along.

“You’re looking well,” Trump added one last time.

The jovial — but anxious — exchange comes after Trump has trashed Kelly publicly for the way she moderated the first GOP primary debate back in August 2015. Trump even refused to participate in a Fox-hosted primary debate in January, and stated at the time that he wouldn’t take part in the event because Kelly is not “fair.”
