Ohio Gov. John Kasich made a fresh acquaintence over the weekend when he took a photo with actor Will Smith.
Kasich’s campaign posted a photo of the two, captioning it with a throwback to “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”: “Now this is a story all about how John Kasich met Will Smith at the airport.”
Smith has had a few political run-ins recently. He dined with President Obama in Washington in February, and declared in November that “there might be a future” for him in politics.
“This is the first year that I’ve been incensed to a level that I can’t sleep, you know? So I’m feeling that at some point, in the near future, I will have to lend my voice to the conversation in a somewhat different way,” Smith said at the time.
