Unions, insurers fund McAuliffe’s biggest donor

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — National unions, pharmaceutical makers and insurance companies were some of the biggest backers of the largest single donor to Gov. Terry McAuliffe’s campaign last year.

The Democratic Governors Association released tax filings Thursday showing its contributors during the last half of 2013.
