Glenn Beck annoyed with ‘son of a bitch’ Kasich

Talk radio host Glenn Beck is deeply annoyed that Ohio Gov. John Kasich is staying in the GOP presidential primary, and went so far Wednesday as to refer to the Republican executive as a “son of a bitch.”

“The republic is at stake,” he said, arguing that Kasich’s presidential campaign only hurts Sen. Ted Cruz’s, R-Texas, chances of snatching the Republican Party’s nomination away from billionaire businessman Donald Trump.

“Kasich, I mean, excuse my language, but, you son of a bitch,” he added. “This is not like a normal race. The republic is at stake.”

Beck has endorsed Cruz in the primary, and he has joined the Texas lawmaker on the campaign trail.

Kasich won the Ohio Republican primary Tuesday evening, which is his first victory in the entire 2016 election cycle. The governor vowed after he was declared the winner to continue on, and to compete against opponents Cruz and Trump.

But Beck and his co-hosts deemed Kasich’s resolve to stay in the race as “delusional.”

“This guy is going to be remembered as a guy who possibly destroyed the republic,” Beck said. Of the GOP, Beck said if Trump wins the nomination “and they throw their weight behind Donald Trump, it’s over.”
