Former President Donald Trump offered his own live commentary of President Joe Biden’s State of the Union address, saying Biden’s performance was “not a pretty sight.”

Trump, who is the only declared Republican candidate for the 2024 race, gave his thoughts on the address in real time on his social media platform Truth Social.

The former president mocked Biden for saying “buy American,” quipping that he was “allowing Foreign Countries to steal all of our jobs” and that “you can only have one or the other!”

He also slammed Biden for his handling of the southern border and ridiculed his constant talk about infrastructure, suggesting Biden was actually using those funds for the “Green New Deal.”

“Joe’s taking credit for many of the things that the Trump Administration started and did. They just happened to kick in during this period — but who can blame him,” Trump said in a post.

Trump also suggested that Biden is “lying so much about Social Security, Medicare, and so many other things.”

He also mocked Biden’s constant use of the word “folks,” suggesting it “must be a nervous habit” and that “we should all sit down and talk to him about this.”

Trump took aim at several people in the audience for Biden’s address. He said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) “looks like Hell,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) was “really going wild” and could only be restrained by a “straightjacket,” and Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) was “racist” and “she is a woman that truly hates America.”

He also lambasted Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA), who he said “spent a lot of time in Spy Fang Fang’s ‘honey net,'” and called former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) a “crazed lunatic.”

The former president fired off at Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s job performance. He sarcastically suggested that Buttigieg has “done an absolutely terrific job with our Airports,” with “waits of no longer than four or five days.” Trump also suggested that Buttigieg is “being groomed by the Party for President, but his husband is not happy about it!”

Trump was complimentary of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and first lady Jill Biden. He said McCarthy is “really looking good” and that “his demeanor is perfect” and added that the first lady was “looking lovely tonight in a beautiful purple dress, clapping and applauding with great enthusiasm.”

The former president released a prerecorded video prior to Biden’s address, denouncing the president’s border policy, high inflation, and the Department of Justice’s alleged weaponization.
