Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said Monday that Democrats’ attempt to smear Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh show they will do anything to win elections.
“[My message going forward is] to remind people what happened to Brett Kavanaugh, that the Democrats will do anything to win,” Graham said on Fox News. “They do not accept the fact that President Trump won.”
Graham said that right ahead of the 2018 midterm elections on Tuesday, he sees Republicans more united than ever between Kavanaugh’s confirmation, the impending migrant caravan making its way to the U.S. border and the booming economy.
The senator said he believes Republicans will maintain a majority in the Senate, but thinks the House race is still too close to call.
Graham says he wants to “remind people how badly [Democrats] treated Brett Kavanaugh,” and “what they will do for power’s sake.”
“There are no boundaries when it comes to them,” Graham said.
