Former President Donald Trump won’t appear on Nevada’s 2024 GOP primary ballot, choosing to stand with the state GOP’s caucus, where delegates will be awarded. Down to a two-person race ahead of next week’s presidential nominating contest, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley will be on the primary ballot but left off the caucus. 

Nevada’s dueling presidential primary system has created confusion for some GOP voters. Registered Republicans are the only voters allowed to cast a ballot in the primary or caucuses — and there are no rules against participating in both, according to the secretary of state’s office.
