Former President Bill Clinton will be back on the campaign trail for Alison Lundergan Grimes in Kentucky Wednesday in an effort to help the young Democrat unseat GOP mainstay Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
Clinton is expected to make two stops in the Bluegrass State. One in Lexington and the other in Hazard, the hard-hit Eastern Kentucky town that relies heavily on coal production. Clinton’s stops on Wednesday follow his earlier trip to Kentucky this year for an event with Grimes.
