Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C., is holding onto a small lead over Republican challenger Thom Tillis.
A CNN/ORC International poll released over the weekend found Hagan with a three-point lead over Tillis. Hagan commanded 46 percent of the vote, while Tillis received 43 percent.
Making matters difficult for Tillis is pesky Libertarian candidate Sean Haugh, whose odd campaign continues to pull in strong support. The CNN poll found Haugh receiving seven percent support among likely voters.
Hagan has remained on top as she continues to try and distance herself from an unpopular White House administration. Tillis, on the other hand, has been unable to leverage big-name Republican support on the campaign trail.
