In roughly 24 hours, Vice President Kamala Harris secured more than half of the 1,976 pledged delegates needed to win the Democratic presidential nomination after President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign.

At least 1,152 delegates have pledged or announced their support for Harris, according to an Associated Press survey. No other candidate has received any delegates besides Harris since Biden exited the race.
