A man has been arrested in connection with a December robbery and sexual assault. Gaithersburg police allege that 34-year-old John Dudley Jr. was driving on South Summit Avenue on Dec. 16, pulled up to a man who was walking and offered the man a ride. The man got into the car, and Dudley then made sexual advances, touching the man’s groin area, police said.
When the man wanted to get out of the car, Dudley pulled out a knife and demanded items from the victim. The man handed over property and then got out of the car, police said.
Dudley, of Damascus, is charged with armed robbery, assault, theft, fourth-degree sex offense and false imprisonment.
