Three Greenpeace activists were arrested Monday after they released helium balloons carrying a banner inside the Senate Hart Office Building.
The banner, which was critical of Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, floated to the ceiling of the building’s 90-foot atrium. A Greenpeace spokesman said the organization was protesting ties between Murkowski and oil companies.
