A man was killed and a 5-year-old boy was wounded in a home invasion by masked gunmen in Northwest Washington early Thursday.
The death followed a fatal shooting at an Adams Morgan playground Wednesday. The two fatalities pushed the District’s homicide number within four of last year’s total.
