xxx Authorities are asking for help in apprehending the man responsible for robbing a bank in Prince George’s County on March 22.
At approximately 12:45 p.m., the robber entered the Capital One Bank at 7500 Annapolis Road in West Lanham. The man posed as a customer until he reached the teller, at which point he passed a note demanding money. The note said, “Pass me your large bills. I have a loaded gun.” The teller complied with his demands, but activated an alarm which made the man flee with the money.
The robber was a 20-to 30-year-old Hispanic male with a fair complexion. He is approximately 5-foot 7-inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark sunglasses, a camouflage hooded sweat shirt and dark bluejeans.
Anyone with information regarding this man is urged to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 301-772-4905.
