Competency review delayed
for accused museum killer
The psychiatric evaluation for the 89-year-old white supremacist who killed a guard at the Holocaust museum has been delayed because of chronic ailments, prison officials said. A federal judge in D.C. granted an eight-week extension for the evaluation of James von Brunn after the prison officials said they were unable to conduct tests because of his ailments. Von Brunn was shot at the museum after he allegedly gunned down guard Stephen T. Johns.
