A 45-year-old Montgomery County man who sexually abused his two stepdaughters when they were 9 years old has been sentenced to 37 years in prison.
Virgilios Nunez molested the first stepdaughter from 1988 to 1990 and the second from 1996 to 2003. In both cases, the groping started when the girls were 9 years old, prosecutors said.
He was convicted of three child sex abuse charges by a jury on March 12 following a five-day trial and pleaded guilty to a fourth charge on March 15.
