4 teens charged in Maryland arsons

<br/></div> <p>Four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a series of intentionally set fires.</p> <p>The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office said the four 16-year-old boys have been charged with setting two Dec. 26 garage fires near <a href=”http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Singleton+Terrace+and+Addison+Woods+Road,+Urbana,+MD&amp;hl=en&amp;ll=39.334032,-77.338943&amp;spn=0.032662,0.066519&amp;sll=37.0625,-95.677068&amp;sspn=34.259599,68.115234&amp;vpsrc=6&amp;hnear=Addison+Woods+Rd+%26+Singleton+Terrace,+7,+Urbana,+Frederick,+Maryland+21704&amp;t=m&amp;z=14″>Singleton Terrace and Addison Woods Road</a> in Urbana.</p> <p>The teens were apprehended after investigators reviewed surveillance footage from a nearby Walmart and saw that a large number of marine flares — which were used to set the blazes — had been shoplifted a few hours before the fires, authorities said.</p> <p>The teens confessed to setting two garage fires and a Dec. 23 porch blaze, authorities said. They are charged with second-degree arson, conspiracy to commit arson and theft.</p>
