A man has been arrested in connection with a 2011 fatal shooting in Northeast D.C., police said.
Jamar Delante George, 25, was charged Wednesday with first-degree murder in the homicide of 20-year-old Ronnie Speight Jr., D.C. police said.
On Saturday, police went to the 5100 block of Jay Street NE and found Speight with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.
