Police are on the lookout for a man who robbed a bank located inside an Anne Arundel County grocery store.
The robber approached a teller at the SunTrust Bank inside the Safeway located at 4211 Mountain Road in Pasadena at about 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Anne Arundel County police. The man handed the clerk a note demanding money; the teller complied and handed over cash.
The man then fled from the store with the money. Authorities didn’t disclose how much cash he obtained.
Police said the man did not show a weapon but implied that he was armed. No injuries were reported in the robbery.
Police officers, including the K-9 and aviation units, searched the area for the robber, but he was not apprehended.
The man is described as white and in his early 20s. He had short brown hair and a mustache. At the time of the heist, he was wearing a green floppy hat and sunglasses.
