A Philadelphia man has been arrested in a 2008 fatal shooting in Prince George’s County, police said.
Ottmar Johnson, 56, was arrested March 1 on a first-degree murder warrant, Prince George’s police announced late Tuesday. He was arrested in Philadelphia and extradited to Prince George’s County.
On April 5, 2008, police found 35-year-old Robert Reid suffering from a gunshot wound in the basement of a home in the 4700 block of 66th Place in Hyattsville. Reid, of Silver Spring, was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, police said.
Police have said they believe Johnson shot Reid after an altercation at a house party.
