D.C. man shot in Suitland
Prince George’s County police are investigating the shooting death of a D.C. man in Suitland, Md.
On Feb. 17, at about 11:44 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 4600 block of Suitland Road, where they found Kelly Garvin, 26, suffering from a gunshot wound. Garvin was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police investigating body found in Adams Morgan
District police discovered a body Friday night at the 2300 block of 17th Street, NW.
The man, whose name was not released, was found at 6:30 p.m behind a house near Kalorama Road.
Police said the man was middle-aged but did not detail the cause of death, saying an autopsy will be conducted.
Man robs Centreville bank
A man who implied he had a weapon robbed a Centreville bank Friday morning.
The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from a 55-year-old teller at the BB&T bank, located at 6130 Redwood Square Center.
The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, around six feet tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a green and black cap, green jacket and blue jeans.
Police say the suspect is responsible for earlier bank robberies in Manassas City and Prince William County.
