A janitor at a Woodbridge elementary school is accused of assaulting a 7-year-old boy with a cart.
Prince William County police said the Enterprise Elementary School student told investigators that janitor Ross Schrecengost used a hand cart to corner him against a bulletin board, then pushed him.
Schrecengost, 59, was charged with assault and battery in the Friday incident.
Police said there appeared to be no motive behind the encounter. The boy was not injured.
