Man admits to robbing armored truck, tour office
A D.C. man has pleaded guilty to the armed robbery of an armored truck and the DC Ducks amphibious tour office. Ricardo Hunter, 55, faces a prison sentence of 15 to 20 years.
In September 2010, Hunter and another man approached a manager of the DC Ducks and Old Town Trolley Tours office in Northeast Washington, prosecutors said. They put a gun to his head and told the manager that if the alarm went off, he “was dead.” Hunter and his partner made off with more than $7,000.
