6 arrested in robberies of Fairfax card games

Fairfax County police have accused six Maryland men of bursting into two Virginia homes, brandishing guns and robbing the residents who were playing cards inside.

The most recent robbery was around 1:30 a.m. on March 22. Police say four masked, armed men barged into a house on the 9400 block of Cloverdale Court in Burke while four men were playing cards inside. One of the suspects was wearing a T-shirt that said “Police” on it. They tied the victims up, took cash, jewelry and credit cards and fled. Later that day, Rockville police pulled the six over on a traffic violation. Inside their car, police say they found marijuana and evidence from the March 22 robbery and a similar robbery that occurred on March 12 in Centreville. Three of the men are 19 years old, two are 20 and the oldest, Hung T. Nguyen, is 31.
