An Alexandria woman has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run incident in Fairfax County, police said.
Gloria Alfreda McMillan, 32, was charged with felony hit and run, Fairfax County police said. The vehicle she drove, a black 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer, was found in Southwest D.C. and seized by detectives.
On Friday, police found 21-year-old Shelinda Delores Arrington unconscious on Harrison Lane. The medical examiner’s office ruled that Arrington died because she was run over by a vehicle.
Authorities said the incident was a case of road rage.
