A Waldorf man wanted on murder charges and who was profiled in The Examiner’s crime page was captured by authorities, U.S. Marshals said.

Terrell L. Thompson, 36, was arrested in Baltimore after members of the U.S. Marshals Office Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force learned he was hiding in a home in Baltimore.

Thompson was wanted in the shooting death of Michael L. Beverly, 33, also of Waldorf, and injuring a 24-year-old Newburg man outside the Newburg Elks Lodge on June 28.

Beverly had been trying to break up a fistfight when Thompson pulled out a gun, Charles County sheriff’s deputies said.
