Increased reward offered for MontCo vandals

An increased reward is being offered for information that helps police identify the vandals damaging property in Montgomery County. Police are investigating three recent hate-related acts of vandalism. In each of the incidents, a reward of $3,000 is now available for information that leads to an arrest. Police are still determining whether the three incidents are related.

The vandalism occurred between July 13 and July 16.

Tire slashings and graffiti were reported on the 15500 block of Wembrough Street in the Spencerville area. Sexual drawings and hate language were painted at Herbert Hoover Middle School and North Bethesda Middle School.
