Police: 4 burglaries at Alexandria auto dealership are linked

Alexandria police are looking for the man authorities believe has burglarized an Alexandria auto dealership four times since February.

Police released surveillance photographs of the suspect Thursday and said the most recent burglary occurred on June 2 between 9 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. at Jack Taylor’s Alexandria Toyota, located at 3750 Jefferson Davis Highway.

The burglar took cash from an office safe, police said.

Other burglaries at the dealership happened on Feb. 27 between midnight and 1 a.m., March 12 between 1:30 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. and March 31 between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m.

The male suspect has worn a baseball cap, a hooded sweatshirt, jeans, sneakers and gloves.
