Police are asking for help tracking down a man dressed in construction gear who tried to rob a Fairfax County bank.
Fairfax County police said the attempted robbery happened shortly before 11 a.m. on March 20, when a man approached a teller at the Bank of America branch located at 748 Walker Road in Great Falls and demanded money.
The robber then fled from the bank before he obtained any funds, authorities said.
No one was injured during the attempted heist.
Police on Monday said they had no updates in the case and the robber remained at large.
Police described the robber as a white man who was between 25 and 30 years old. He was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 200 pounds. The man was wearing a white T-shirt and an orange construction vest.
