Man arrested after crashing Jeep into building

A man was arrested Friday night after crashing his SUV into a building in Northwest D.C.

Charles Morrell Ball, 32, of New Market, Md., was charged with felony destruction of property, arson and unauthorized use of a vehicle after crashing his Jeep into a building on the 1000 block of Connecticut Ave. NW around 7:30 p.m., D.C. police said.

Ball was place under arrest and then taken to an area hospital for observation. Police had no update on his condition Saturday morning.
