Chantilly woman charged in death of 11-month-old

A Chantilly woman has been arrested in connection with the death last October of an 11-month-old boy she was baby-sitting, police said.

Carol Lutsky, 20, was charged with child abuse/neglect and murder in the death of Nehemiah Williams, according to the Vienna Police Department.

Lutsky had already returned the boy to his mother in Reston by the time Vienna police arrived on Oct. 5, police said. Officers went to the mother’s location and found Nehemiah, who was then hospitalized. He died on Oct. 6.

An autopsy found the boy died from blunt force trauma to his upper body.

He and a co-conspirator fired 40 rounds toward a group of more than one dozen people, killing the two and injuring a 22-year-old woman who was making a U-turn, federal prosecutors said.
