Cousins convicted in D.C. murder Two cousins were convicted of killing a man they believed had killed one of their family members, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for D.C.
A D.C. Superior Court jury convicted Gary Dickens, 41, and Antwarn “Tony” Fenner, 37, in the August 2008 shooting death of Stanley Daniels.
Daniels had been a suspect in the July 2008 stabbing death of Dickens’ estranged wife, April Dickens.
April Dickens had recently ended a relationship with Daniels, and Gary Dickens and Fenner believed he was responsible in her death, prosecutors said.
A third man, Eddie Pitts, previously pleaded guilty to his role in Daniels’ death.

Police are investigating the death of a man found outside a Hyattsville home as a homicide.
Officers found 58-year-old Jerry Junior Neal unconscious outside a home on the 6700 block of Old Landover Road at about 5 a.m. Wednesday, according to Prince George’s County police. Neal was taken to a hospital, where he died Wednesday evening.
Neal had suffered trauma to his upper body, police said.
He lived on the 7700 block of Penbrook Place, about two-and-a-half miles away.
No arrests have been made and investigators have not identified a suspect in the slaying, said Cpl. Henry Tippett, a police spokesman.
Arrest made in D.C. slaying
A Temple Hills man has been arrested in connection with the weekend shooting death of a man in Northeast Washington.
District police said 32-year-old Ricardo Mitchell was taken into custody Wednesday in connection with the Sunday killing of Wyatt Robinson, 33.
Robinson was found fatally shot on the 3800 block of Minnesota Avenue NE shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday.
Mitchell is charged with first-degree murder while armed.
