Md. police step up seat belt enforcement

Police across Maryland will step up enforcement of seat belt laws in May. Law enforcement officers will focus on ticketing motorists who break the state’s seat belt and child safety seat laws as part of a “Click It or Ticket” campaign. Police will also educate people about the importance of using seat belts and child safety seats.
