Testimony will resume Monday in the trial for a man accused of killing his boss at Suburban Hospital. Maintenance worker Keith D. Little is charged with first-degree murder in the New Year’s Day stabbing death of 40-year-old Roosevelt Brockington Jr.
A Montgomery County forensic biologist is expected to testify about a glove found at the crime scene. But, in a crucial blow to the prosecution, Judge Marielsa Bernard ruled last week that the expert can’t testify that a stain on the glove is Brockington’s blood. Forensic tests have yielded conflicting results about whether the stain is blood.
The defense is expected to begin calling its witnesses, two of Little’s relatives, early this week.
Little, 50, was charged with killing a co-worker in D.C. in 2003, but was acquitted.
