A 23-year-old man has been arrested in a fatal Northeast D.C. shooting that occurred this past weekend, police said.
Dietrich Baker, of Northeast, was arrested Monday afternoon and is charged with murder two while armed in the death of 22-year-old James Ray Sherrod, D.C. police said.
Saturday afternoon, authorities responded to the 700 block of Kenilworth Terrace NE and found Sherrod suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries.
