Md. man arrested in wife’s killing
A Maryland man was arrested for allegedly killing his wife in a domestic dispute.
Anne Arundel County police said officers responded to a report of a domestic assault on the 7700 block of Jones Drive in Pasadena at about 5 a.m. Wednesday and found a 38-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.
Jill Salb was pronounced dead at a hospital about an hour later. Her husband, 56-year-old Stephen Salb, was at the home and was arrested in the slaying, police said. The motive in the attack wasn’t immediately clear.
Stephen Salb has been charged with first- and second-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault.
The woman’s 20-year-old daughter tried to intervene in the assault and was also injured, police said. She was treated for wounds that were not life-threatening, police said.
