FBI on hunt for armored car robbers

FBI agents investigating an armored car robbery in the District are asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects. The robbery occurred at 10:45 a.m. on Nov. 22 after a Garda armored car made a stop at the Sunoco service station at Harvard Street and Sherman Avenue Northwest. Two Garda guards were confronted by three armed men who demanded money and took off with the cash. The robbers fled the area on foot. They were black males, all in their 40s. One man had a missing tooth, while another was described as having a short Mohawk haircut.
