A 45-year-old Reston man was arrested in connection with the attempted abduction of a teenager last month on the 1400 block of North Point Village Center, according to Fairfax County police.
Amjad Zuhdi Arnous, 45, of the 11700 block of Old Bayberry Lane, turned himself in to authorities on Saturday.
Police said a man approached a 13-year-old girl and engaged in a conversation. The two went to a coffee shop and later walked a short distance together. The man asked for a kiss, police said. He attempted to grab the girl before she ran away and called authorities, police said. Anyone with additional information is asked to contact police at 866-411-TIPS (8477).
