Man charged in murder-for-hire plot in Prince WIlliam County

A Woodbridge man has been arrested in connection with a murder-for-hire plot, police said.

Michael George Rusinack was arrested Saturday is charged with solicitation to commit capital murder, Prince William County police said on Tuesday. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 13.

Last week, Prince William County police began investigating the murder-for-hire plot with the assistance of the ATF Northern Virginia Violent Crimes Task Force. The plot was reported to have been arranged in the 15800 block of Donald Curtis Drive in Woodbridge.

The investigation found that Rusinack had made arrangements with an acquaintance to have a 28-year-old Woodbridge man killed. Authorities said that Rusinack and the victim were involved in a continuous domestic-related feud.
