A Germantown man was arrested on child sex abuse charges and police are asking for other victims to come forward.
Olimpio Lourenco Brito, 60, was charged with two counts of child abuse, sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree sex offense and third-degree sex offense.
Last month, Montgomery County police responded to a Germantown home for a report of sexual abuse. During the course of an investigation, police learned an additional juvenile victim who told detectives she also was sexually abused, police said.
Brito was previously employed as a schoolteacher and guidance counselor in New York. Detectives would like to hear from anyone who has knowledge of any inappropriate contact by Brito and a juvenile. Anyone with information can call police at 240-773-5400.
