A Montana man shot himself in the butt when he put a pistol in his pants after firing several shots while driving.
Johnathan William Hartman, 27, was driving when he allegedly first put the gun in his girlfriend’s mouth and threatened to kill her, the Billings Gazette reported.
He fired several shots in the car, then put the gun in his pants. He was drinking whiskey, began driving erratically and the weapon accidently discharged.
He’s facing assault charges.
That’s exposing your identity
Police say man accused of exposing himself to a mother and her children answered the door with his pants around his ankles when an officer arrived to follow up on the complaint.
The Arizona Republic reported that a woman and her two children saw a man pull his jeans down to his ankles and wiggle his hips while standing outside an apartment. He wasn’t wearing underwear, and the woman called police.
When police arrived, 55-year-old Michael Polley allegedly answered the door with his pants still pulled down.
The newspaper reported that the mother and children were watching and told police, “That’s him!”
The fast lane to an arrest
An accused speeder in Oklahoma City led cops straight to him after he posted a video of his vehicle driving more than 190 mph on YouTube.
Police used the videos of 30-year-old Dee Albert “Cody” Replogle’s Chevrolet Corvette to track him down, the Oklahoman reported. The videos were taken from inside the car and show it rocketing past other vehicles.
Police said investigators determined that Replogle was responsible for posting the YouTube videos and was the owner and driver of the vehicle.
He is accused of reckless driving.
Sword vs. club — sword wins
A man with a samurai sword cut three fingers off another man during a fight in Indiana.
WTHI in Terre Haute reported that a man became upset when headlights from a car were shining into his home. He got into a fight with the man in the car, using a wooden club, police told the television station.
Then the man in the car pulled out a samurai sword and sliced off three fingers of the man with the club.
