A District man was shot and killed Tuesday in Southeast D.C., police said.
Lamar Marquel Walker, 21, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday morning and later died as a result of his injuries, according to D.C. police.
Police responded at 12:51 a.m. Tuesday to the 300 block of 50th Street SE on a report of gunshots. When officers arrived, they found Walker in the 5000 block of Call Place SE, police said. Walker was taken to a local hospital and later died.
Investigators found that the shooting took place in the 4900 block of Call Place SE, police said.
