A Manassas woman has died from injuries suffered in a weekend crash at a restaurant parking lot.
Prince William County police said 36-year-old Rosa Marquez Lovo died Monday night after she was hit by a car in the parking lot of Pollo Campero, 7913 Sudley Road, at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police said Marquez Lovo was standing on a sidewalk when she was hit by a car driven by 37-year-old Maria Del Carmen Roca Perez, who hit the accelerator instead of the brake while making a turn.
Roca Perez has been charged with reckless driving and could face additional charges, according to Officer Jonathan Perok, a police spokesman.
