Body recovered in Landover warehouse collapse

Prince George’s County officials have recovered the body of a worker who had been missing since a Landover warehouse collapsed Thursday night, the Associated Press reported.

The body was found at around 8 a.m. Sunday. His identiy will not be released, however, until after the autopsy is completed, according to the AP.

Employees told fire officials that a forklift accidentally struck a storage rack, which fell and caused other racks and support beams to collapse, followed by the roof and walls, The Washington Examiner reported Friday. About 25 employees were inside the warehouse when it collapsed.
