A Maryland man was charged with drunken driving after he allegedly rammed another vehicle and then backed his pickup onto the hood of a police car.
Frederick police said Brian Head, 26, of Middletown got into an argument with the driver of a Volkswagen Cabriolet in the parking lot of a downtown Frederick bar.
Head rammed the car with his Ford F-250 and then pushed the smaller vehicle across the intersection and into a utility pole, police said. He then accelerated in reverse onto the unmarked police car, police said.
Police said Head didn’t know the police car was behind him when he backed up.
No one was injured in the crashes.
