4-year-old boy found after abduction in Prince George’s

Update 1:39 p.m.: The 4-year-old who was allegedly abducted by his father shortly after 8 a.m. this morning has been found at his school, according to authorities.

Police would not release the name of the school, and are still searching for the father, who jumped in a vehicle at a Landover gas station and drove off with the boy still inside as the mother was attempting to fuel the vehicle.

Prince George’s County police are searching for a 4-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by his father Wednesday morning.

The boy’s mother was fueling her vehicle at an Exxon station in Landover, located on the 7500 block of Landover Road, when the boy’s father jumped into the vehicle and drove off, according to police.

The car, described as a black Honda, was later found on the 7400 block of Hawthorne Street in Landover, but the whereabouts of the boy and father are still unkown.

Police are trying to determine who has custody of the child, a black boy last seen wearing a grey peacoat, tan pants and a red shirt.

The father is described as a black male, last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue and white striped t-shirt, and has long hair, according to police. It’s unclear whether he is armed, police said.
