Prince William County police have identified a young boy who shot himself in the head, apparently by accident.
Kyrell Kyyon McNeill, 4, died Wednesday from a gunshot wound to the head, police said. Police believe the shooting was accidental and self-inflicted, they said.
The incident occurred in a car on the 14800 block of Empire Street in Woodbridge. McNeill’s family was not immediately available for comment. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
