Murder-suicide leaves four dead in Anne Arundel

Police are investigating the deaths of four people found shot to death in Anne Arundel County Sunday morning in what they believe was a murder-suicide.

Anne Arundel police were called to 607 Wood St. in Brooklyn Park Sunday at around 9 a.m. after a woman said she had received a “despondent” text message from her adult son, who lived there, according to Lt. J.D. Batten. While speaking with the woman, police heard a gunshot from inside the house. Inside they found an adult male, an adult female and twins — a boy and a girl — believed to be about 15.

Police believe the man shot the other three people before killing himself, said Batten. They don’t know the relationship between the four individuals, but all four lived together at the house on Wood Street.
