Accused Levy killer faces new charges
The 28-year-old illegal immigrant accused of killing Washington intern Chandra Levy has now also been charged with threatening a witness in the case.
In an indictment filed Wednesday, Ingmar Guandique was charged with obstructing justice and threatening to injure a person for allegedly writing a letter from jail that threatened to kill someone identified only as “J.G.” in court documents if “J.G.” cooperated with law enforcement.
Guandique already has been charged with murdering Levy in Rock Creek Park in 2001.

John Q. Kinsey was returned to Virginia on Wednesday after being arrested in Pennsylvania on rape and burglary charges. Police say DNA shows he was the man who attacked a 30-year-old woman in the Pimmit Hills area in May 1987.
