Prince George’s County police are trying to track down the man who robbed a Capitol Heights convenience store at gunpoint. Police said the robbery happened at the 7-Eleven at 7411 Central Ave. shortly before 5:30 p.m. Thursday. Police didn’t say what was taken.
No suspects have been identified in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 301-772-4905 or Crime Solvers at 866-411-TIPS (8477). Crime Solvers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
In the past week, at least six other 7-Eleven stores around the county have also been robbed, though it isn’t known whether the crimes are related. Other 7-Eleven robberies have been reported in Fort Washington, Glenarden, Silver Hill, Mount Rainier, Forest Heights and Temple Hills.
